Outside Scholarships

Scholarships offered by your high school, community, or other organizations are a great way to help finance your college education. We encourage all of our students to apply for outside scholarships to reduce or eliminate a current balance, or decrease their student loans.

Students may find scholarship search engines helpful when trying to find outside scholarships.  We have a few popular ones below to get you started!  Please note, these websites are not affiliated with Bay Path University and the scholarships are not provided by our institution.  You must apply directly to the scholarship opportunities in the search engines for consideration.

If you receive a scholarship, please forward the appropriate documentation to the Student Financial Services Office so the award may be included in your financial aid package.

When the Student Financial Services Office is notified that a student will be receiving an outside scholarship, they will first attempt to add the scholarship to the financial aid package and not reduce any other financial aid funds as long as the student’s aid package has then not exceeded the cost of attendance.  If the student’s financial aid package exceeds the cost of attendance with the outside scholarship(s), the student's financial aid package must be adjusted.  The Student Financial Services Office will first reduce student loans, followed by federal work-study funds before they decrease or eliminate any scholarships or grants offered by the University, the state of Massachusetts, or the federal government.

Don’t fall prey to scholarship scams! We advise students and families to be very cautious when applying for scholarships and do not provide organizations with sensitive information or an application fee.
