On Monday March 8, International Women’s Day, Bay Path University held its fifth annual On the Move Forum to Advance Women in a virtual setting for the first time. To kick off the event a virtual art exhibit was showcased as attendees logged on. In between the slides of impactful art, which can be seen in person on Bay Path’s Longmeadow campus, were equally inspiring quotes by influential women.

In 2021 that mission remains as important as ever as communities and campuses come together to learn from history and to recognize and celebrate the achievements and contributions of Black Americans. When we asked our students how they’d like that honor to be represented this year in Bay Path’s annual Black History Month events, their answer was clear: after the collective trauma that 2020 held, it was time to come together as a University to recognize and celebrate Black culture.

I Am Bay Path Storytelling Project Page:
Storytelling is one of the oldest forms of human communication. Whether it is passing down history and lore to following generations, or a means to inspire and inform, storytelling is a powerful tool to connect, as well as share authentic experiences with one another. Diversity Dashboard Page:
Bay Path keeps detailed information regarding demographics and campus climate. This information is compiled from multiple sources, including university records and voluntary surveys. Data is carefully analyzed in order to draw conclusions about what may benefit the University in terms of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Be sure to check out our

Our Progress Page:
The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Community Council understands that achieving the goals of the Action Plan is a long-term effort, requiring the commitment and support of many in the University community. This page is provided as a way for members of the community to keep apprised of progress on each element of the plan. Additional and more substantive updates will be provided via the range of University communication vehicles.
