Signature Scholarship Competition Program

This program is open to first-time, first-year applicants intending to apply for admittance to the Bay Path University Residential College for fall 2019.

The Bay Path University Signature Scholarship Competition Program will provide prospective first-time, first-year Residential College students entering in the fall of 2019, the opportunity to compete for a limited number of scholarship awards, ranging from $2,500 to full tuition. 

To apply, respond to the short essay prompt question found here no later than January 6, 2018. Semi-finalists will be invited to participate in a campus-based competition on February 18, 2019. Students must attend the competition to be considered for these awards.

Scholarship Competition Awards:

  1. The Carol A. Leary Scholars Award* - As a Leary Scholar, you represent the very best at Bay Path University. Each year, one high school senior with exceptional academic achievements and distinctive personal accomplishments is awarded a Leary Scholar Award. This most prestigious of our awards covers the full cost of tuition for four years at Bay Path University.
  2. The Empowered Learner and Leader Scholar Award* - One-Two $30,000 scholarships will be awarded.
  3. The Bold Leader Scholar Award* - Two $25,000 scholarships will be awarded.
  4. The Changemaker Award* - A limited number of $2,500 scholarships will be awarded.

Eligibility, Instructions and Important Dates:

  1. Indicate "Yes" to the Signature Scholarship Competition Program question within your Bay Path University Residential College Application as a freshman, first-year student for the Residential College 
  2. Submit your official high school transcripts
  3. SAT/ACT scores (unless you indicate you're a test optional applicant)
  4. Complete and submit the Bay Path University's Signature Scholarship Competition Program Essay Submission Form (there is a 4,000 character limit)

*the signature scholarship competition program awards may be inclusive of all financial aid including other merit-based scholarship and need-based financial aid.
