Student Capstone Projects

The Advanced Seminar Capstone Course (MHE670) is designed to provide all students in the higher education administration masters program with the opportunity to apply and demonstrate their mastery of new skills and knowledge.

For their capstone thesis projects, students undertake original research studies that involve the investigation of a current problem or issue in higher education. With close personal mentoring from faculty they formulate a research methodology, collect original data for their study via surveys or interviews, conduct an analysis and create original recommendations for practitioners. Many of the projects are publishable quality, and many students focus on a project that will help their current office or department at work to improve it's success.
