Teachers are a vital part in the development of children, especially during their early years. What children learn and experience at this age sets the foundation for who they will become and can impact their future success in educational, professional, and personal lives. Bay Path's MSEd/EdS in Early Childhood Education provides students with an intensive study of content for improved classroom performance. This degree is intended to deepen the content and subject matter knowledge base for teachers at the early childhood education level. 

About the Degree

  • MSEd/EdS Program Options:
    • Initial Licensure: This option is for candidates who want to earn a Massachusetts Initial License in Elementary Education.
    Non-Licensure: This option is for students NOT seeking Massachusetts Initial Licensure in Early Childhood Education.
  • Classes start every February, June, and October
  • Convenient schedule is a combination of online and on campus courses (offered in either ConcordEast Longmeadow, or Sturbridge, Massachusetts)
  • Option to attend full-time or part-time while continuing with family life, work, and other commitments
  • Collaborate with a network of like-minded professionals and supportive faculty in a small, intimate, highly dynamic and interactive classroom setting
  • Access to mentoring, tutoringlibrary resourcesacademic resources, and career services assists students in becoming independent and successful learners
  • Financial aid is available
  • No GMAT or GRE required
