Barbara Cammuso, PhD

Adjunct Faculty

Dr. Cammuso brings extraordinary skills, knowledge, and experience to the RN to BSN completer nursing program in the American Women's College of Bay Path University. With more than 35 years as a clinical nurse and a nurse educator, Barbara creates classroom experiences of the highest quality for Bay Path's nursing program.

She brings to this task years of teaching, leadership, and academic preparation. Her online and on-ground courses and teaching excellence have garnered her numerous awards. Her students describe how her "highly supportive teaching style" and her "great skill and knowledge" elevated their thinking and enhanced their skills as professional nurses.

It takes both skill and strong academic preparation to earn such accolades. Barbara completed graduate certificates in Forensic Nursing and Qualitative Research, a master's degree as a Gerontological Nurse Practitioner, a PhD in Nutrition, and an EdD in Education with a Nursing Psychology Emphasis. She honed her leadership skills further serving on state and national nursing collegiate education and accrediting committees.
