Chanelle Adams-Griffin, PhD

Dr. Chanelle Adams-Griffin is an adjunct faculty member in the Food Science and Safety Certificate Program. She began teaching at Bay Path in 2014, and is currently a full time faculty member at Western New England University. As a trained microbiologist, Dr. Adams-Griffin has earned degrees from Stillman College (B.S. Biology), University of Connecticut (M.S. Microbiology) and University of Massachusetts Amherst (PhD Food Microbiology). She has held positions in all facets of the workforce beginning her professional career as an Industry professional, after which she transitioned into Government and finally Academia. Her area of expertise is Food Safety but her passion is teaching. Here at Bay Path, Dr. Adams-Griffin's course load includes a rotation of Intro to Food Science, Food Chemistry I, Food Chemistry II, Food Microbiology and General Microbiology.
