Jeanne Zobel-Lachiusa, OT, EdD, OTR, BCP

Dr. Jeanne Zobel-Lachiusa received her doctorate in education (Ed.D) from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and her MOT degree from the University of Southern California. She completed Advanced Theory and Practice in Sensory Integration at the Ayres Clinic, in California and interdisciplinary training at the University Affiliated Program of Children’s Hospital, Los Angeles.

Dr. Zobel has been an OT for over 25 years. She has worked in a variety of settings including schools, hospitals, community agencies, and skilled nursing facilities with children and adults with various diagnoses. She has been teaching at Bay Path University's graduate program in occupational therapy since 2014. Dr. Zobel-Lachiusa’s research interests include children with autism spectrum disorder and sensory integration. She has published her research results and presented them locally and nationally. Dr. Zobel-Lachiusa has been an active member of local boards involving children and families. She is AOTA Board Certified in Pediatrics (BCP) and is completing the process for certification in Ayres Sensory Integration (CASI).  Dr. Zobel-Lachiusa strives to share her knowledge from years of clinical experience, to inspire students with her passion for OT, and provide a safe, supportive learning environment.
