MS Nonprofit Management and Philanthropy
Designed for individuals working in the nonprofit field as well as those wishing to make a career move into nonprofits, this degree emphasizes leadership, strategic thinking, fundraising and other areas critical to nonprofit organizations. The degree has been specifically designed for mid and senior professionals and leaders working in and with nonprofit organizations and their unique business environments and day-to-day operational demands.
From leadership to strategic and fiscal planning to board governance and fundraising, you will explore best practices and gain knowledge which will be immediately applicable. And, best of all, every course will incorporate the unique perspective of the nonprofits context, meaning the learning environment will be very different form the traditional management classroom setting. Curriculum
The M.S. in Nonprofit Management and Philanthropy degree requires the completion of 12 courses of which 8 are required core courses. You may take four additional electives. You may choose to take the certificate in fundraising management or the certificate in nonprofit management as your elective.

NMP 668 Global Communities in the 21st Century: Bangalore, India
Bangalore is known for its booming IT and Internet industry and has been developed in cooperation with the International Center for Management and India Studies. On-site classes will focus on India's history, culture, and recent emergence as a powerhouse in the global information technology industry. Corporate visits will be made to organizations such as Microsoft India, GM Tech Center, Motorola, etc.
