The online Master of Science in Education in General Science (grades 1-6 or grades 5-8) program prepares educators to teach science content using hands-on, inquiry-based education.

The curriculum is grounded in the Massachusetts science education model, balancing studies in earth, life, physical and engineering sciences and is approved by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Our Online Master's in General Science offers four options:

• Initial Licensure: For students seeking Massachusetts Initial Licensure in grades 1-6
• Non-Licensure: For students seeking the MSEd degree without licensure in grades 1-6
• Initial Licensure: For students seeking Massachusetts Initial Licensure in grades 5-8
• Non-Licensure: For students seeking the MSEd degree without licensure in grades 5-8
