Elementary Education Program Options

Bay Path University's MSEd/EdS in Elementary Education has three program options: Massachusetts Initial Licensure, Massachusetts Professional Licensure, and Non-Licensure. Each program of study is individually designed with a program advisor and can be completed on a full-time or part-time basis. 

Courses are offered 100% online.

MSEd/EdS in Elementary Education Program Options:

Initial Licensure: 

The MSEd/EdS in Elementary Education grades 1-6 with Massachusetts Initial Licensure can be completed full-time or part-time. Classes are offered 100% online.

MSEd 39 credits

EdS 39 or 42 credits

The EdS is an advanced degree that provides teachers who currently hold a master’s degree with an area of specialization. Students must complete the same coursework as the MSEd with the addition of SPE540.

Professional Licensure: 

The MSEd/EdS in Elementary Education grades 1-6 with Massachusetts Professional Licensure can be completed full-time or part-time. Classes are offered 100% online.

Non-Licensure: 

The MSEd/EdS in Elementary Education non-licensure option is for students NOT seeking Massachusetts initial licensure in elementary education. The degree can be completed on a full-time or part-time basis. Classes are offered 100% online.
