Accounting (MS) Degree: Finance Concentration

The Finance Concentration is part of the MS in Accounting graduate program. The program is 30 credits 7 core courses and 3 electives, see required courses below.

The Finance Concentration is designed for students looking to advance their skills in finance for a career in accounting. Financial analytics and corporate finance concepts are vital for students wishing to pursue corporate/managerial accounting positions and are heavily tested on the CMA exams.

The MS in Accounting is also designed to satisfy the 150-semester-hour educational requirement for licensure as a Certified Public Accountant as adopted by over 40 states, including Massachusetts and Connecticut.
