International Students

The friendly and safe campus of Bay Path College welcomes international students to apply for admission to our undergraduate program as first-year or transfer students. Coming to the United States to study is a major decision-exciting, exhilarating and, undoubtedly, a little worrisome, too. At Bay Path, the minute you arrive in America, you are given special attention: you are met at the plane, assisted in settling into your residence hall room, and helped with all those details coming to a new country involves-like setting up your own bank account and shopping for items for school.

At Bay Path, there is a strong international influence and a number of our faculty have lived or taught abroad. Many of the international students on campus are members of the Women of Culture Organization, one of the largest clubs on campus. Women of Culture holds several activities throughout the year and its mission is to promote cultural awareness and understanding through friendship and knowledge. The head of the Women of Culture is the international student advisor, who also provides guidance and assistance to ease the transition to living and studying in the United States.

A Special Program for an Easy Transition to College in the United States

Bay Path works closely with families in the Greater Springfield area to welcome new international students to the College. You will arrive on campus a few days early and be introduced to your host family. In the next few days, you will live in the home of your host family where they will introduce you to American culture and cuisine, show you the sites in the area, and help you get settled into your new campus home.
