Counseling Center

The Counseling Center supports and enhances the academic and personal growth of all Bay Path students. We offer short-term individual and group counseling for a broad range of issues including adjustment to college, eating disorders, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, stress management, as well as consultation for faculty, staff, students and parents. In some cases we provide referrals for off-campus mental health providers. Our services are confidential except in rare circumstances involving serious risk of harm to self or others.

The Bay Path Counseling Center offers services to all Bay Path students free of charge. We are located on the first floor of Theinert Hall.

Counseling Center Staff:

Jennifer Dugan Murphy, MSW, LICSW, director of the counseling center, is a graduate of the Smith College School for Social Work. She has worked previously at the Smith College Counseling Service and at the Clark University Counseling Service. 

Connie Gould, MA, MSW, LICSW is a graduate of the Smith College School for Social Work and Gallaudet University’s graduate program in Counseling the Hearing Impaired. She has previously worked at River Valley Counseling Center in Chicopee, MA.
