WiSH Admission Policy

Minimum Requirements:

  • Entering First Year Students — a minimum high school GPA of 3.5 
  • Transfer Students — students accepted for admission may also apply for admission to the WiSH program if they have maintained a 3.75 GPA during their first year in college.

How to Apply:

  1. Complete WiSH Application - click here to download application
  2. Having read the above Mae Jemison quote, use your imagination and creativity and submit a written piece, video (three minutes or less), blog, digital portfolio, research documentation, music recording, piece of visual art or other medium that works best for you to express your views on the above quote.
  3. You must submit one recommendation by an individual who can speak to you scientific and/or research ability and potential.

Space is limited to participate in the Women in STEM Honors Program. Students who do not submit their paperwork before the program reaches capacity will be placed on a wait list.
