Ann M. Dobmeyer, Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and Professor of Law, Bay Path College has been a member of the Bay Path community since 1994, first as a faculty member, then as Chair of the Legal Studies Department, and currently as the Associate Vice President. Recognized by her students for her outstanding teaching ability, she teaches in the American Bar Association approved Legal Studies program at Bay Path.
Before her move to Western Massachusetts, she worked in Washington, D.C. as a staff member in The White House, Office of Counsel to the President during the Carter Administration and as a litigation attorney with Canan, Burns and O’Toole, P.C. in Washington, D.C., where she handled a variety of legal matters including family, estate and probate, constitutional torts, and a consumer class action with over 300 plaintiffs.
She holds a BFA from The Ohio State University and a JD from Antioch College School of Law, Washington. D.C. She completed Harvard Law School’s Program of Instruction for Lawyers and served as editor of The Sidebar and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Paralegal Education and Practice, both publications of the American Association for Paralegal Association. She is the author of Interviewing and Investigation for Paralegals: A Practical Approach, published by Aspen Law and Business.
