Dr. Melissa Morriss-Olson has more than 30 years of higher education leadership. As University Provost, she helped strengthen Bay Path’s financial stability and academic growth even while many other small universities have struggled or closed their doors. Currently serving as Distinguished Professor of Higher Ed Leadership, Director of the Bay Path University EdD program and The Center for Higher Education Leadership and Innovative Practice (CHELIP), she hosts the highly popular IngenioUs podcast where she holds conversations with higher ed's most creative thinkers and doers. Author of two books and many articles, her newest book, Ingenious Leadership in a VUCA World: Stories of Inspiration and Success, is scheduled to be released in early 2024.
