Director of Graduate Admissions
Graduate programs I cover:
MFA Creative Nonfiction Writing, Applied Data Science, Nonprofit Management & Philanthropy, and Strategic Fundraising & Philanthropy
What I like most about my role:
Talking with students about their career plans and how their graduate degree would fit into those goals.
My favorite thing about Bay Path University:
Our faculty and staff commitment to the University. We live by the mission that students come first.
The most important part of an application:
The essay. I read all of them closely. I look for the student’s writing ability and for how well the student’s goals align with what our degree is going to provide.
Advice about applying to grad school:
Look at the curriculum and read the course descriptions, especially if you’re on the fence about which degree to pursue. Be sure that what you’re actually going to learn aligns with the learning outcomes of our degree.
My favorite motto or quote:
“What lies behind us and what lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson
