125th Anniversary Signature Events

Signature event: On the Move, March 22, 2022

Professor Janine Fondon, Chair of Bay Path’s Undergraduate Communications Department channels her passion for changing the face and strengthening the force of women’s activism into this yearly community event; a multigenerational gathering of students, community advocates, local politicians and professionals, established to inspire participation in the political process.

Signature event: The Women’s Leadership Conference, April 1, 2022

A day of professional development through workshops, presentations and networking opportunities representing our region’s collective investment in the women who power our workforce. This year’s event will bring entrepreneurs Tyra Banks and Suzy Batiste to share their own takes on reinvention, resilience and professional success.

Signature event: Presidential Investiture April 8, 2022

We will officially inaugurate Sandra Doran, JD as Bay Path’s sixth president. President Doran will share her vision for guiding Bay Path into its next era as we celebrate our 125-year history of providing innovative career-based education to a diverse student population.

Signature event: 125th Celebration Ball

A black-tie event featuring dinner and dancing to celebrate 125 years of educational excellence and ongoing progress, all in support of our amazing Bay Path students, who will share the impact that a Bay Path education has had on their lives.

Signature event: Academic Achievement Day, April 12, 2022

We cancel classes in order to bring our whole community together for an annual day of presentations, discussions, and exhibitions, displaying outstanding work by Bay Path undergraduate students from both our traditional on-campus programs and The American Women’s College, as well as graduate students.

Commencement, May 15, 2022

We celebrate the resilience and drive of Bay Path’s Class of 2022 with ceremonies and events that honor our undergraduate and graduate students, who have triumphed through the unique adversity of the pandemic to earn their degrees.

Signature event: 2022 Reunion, Fall 2022

We’ll once again gather on the bucolic Bay Path campus in Longmeadow for an in-person celebration of our progress, our friendships and the many ways Bay Path has shaped our lives. Activities will include the State of the University address, luncheon and other special events at what promises to be the biggest Reunion ever.
