Dr. Simone Elias is an experienced dissertation chair, researcher, doctor of education faculty member, and K-12 educator. Throughout her career, she has made significant contributions to the field of education, publishing her research in esteemed journals and earning awards for her dedication to education and commitment to innovative and inclusive practices in higher education and K-12. Her research is focused on human development as authentic leaders, with a particular emphasis on using life story narratives to explore leadership development. Dr. Elias is passionate about understanding the experiences, epiphanies, turning points, critical moments, and contextual events that shape leaders' development and approaches to leadership.

With a diverse academic background, including a Doctorate in Education in Organizational Leadership from Northeastern University, an Education Specialist degree in Instructional Technology from the University of Maine, Orono, and a Master's in Instructional Technology from Cambridge College, Dr. Elias brings a compassionate and well-rounded perspective to her work as a scholar-practitioner in the field of education.
