Sherian Wilmot-Carter, DNP, APRN, FNP-C

Dr. Sherian Wilmot-Carter clinically practices as a Family Nurse Practitioner with Ascension Sacred Heart Health System, where she has been awarded 5-star provider ratings within her first year of clinical practice with the company. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she garnered over 11 years of nursing experience in a variety of clinical settings. Dr. Wilmot-Carter is an honors graduate from the University of South Alabama and received and undergraduate nursing degree from Northwest Florida State College.

Her clinical areas of expertise include obesity medicine and the diagnosis and treatment of other acute and chronic diseases across the lifespan. She has experience with teaching undergraduate students along with clinically preparing graduate students for the workforce.
