Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies: ECE

Bay Path College students leaving Carr Hall

The early childhood education program prepares you to teach in public and private elementary schools pre-K through grade 2 to young children with and without disabilities. The curriculum includes courses in early literacy, fine and large motor development, numeracy and science skills, and social and emotional development.

Our program has been approved by the Massachusetts Department of Education. Students earn an initial license, grades PreK-2, issued by the Massachusetts Department of Education. The PreK-2 teaching license qualifies for reciprocity with states that participate in the Interstate Agreement and endorse similar licensure. This allows Bay Path education graduates to teach in states other than Massachusetts.
