Melanie Rodriguez, EdD

Being an educator is exciting, rewarding and elemental towards becoming a life-long learner. I really enjoy serving our current and future teachers. Some of my favorite teaching and learning experiences are when we discuss learning theories and methodologies. I find that engaging in topics revolving around multicultural learning and finding creative ways to serve the diverse classroom is always insightful!

In addition to teaching, I have always had a passion for the arts. I sing, compose music and just started learning to play the violin. I also love to create art in other mediums including crocheting, knitting, sewing and painting.

I enjoy applying what I have learned to help my family and community through charitable works and volunteering. My hope is to inspire my students to pursue life-long learning and to enjoy the journey of the learning process.
