Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
The National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) maintains accreditation from the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), the credentialing body of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence. National Registry certification is recognized by all fifty states as a valid attestation of entry-level competency prior to the issuance of a license to practice.
Bay Path University offers a state-approved Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program at the EMT-Basic Training level. Bay Path University is recognized as an Accredited Training Institution (ATI) by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
Satisfactory completion of the Bay Path University EMT program, including full attendance and achievement of minimum passing grades, satisfies the educational requirements necessary to sit for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians certification exam or a state-specific licensure examination. The Bay Path University EMT program meets the educational requirement for EMT certification in all states and territories.
