Professional Licensure Disclosure: DNP
Doctor of Nursing Practice
The Bay Path University DNP program with a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) specialization qualifies the graduate to sit for the national certification exams offered through the American Association Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC). The conferred degree, plus national certification will allow the graduate to apply for APRN (advanced practice nursing) licensure in all 50 states. However, graduates should check for any additional licensure requirements outside of Massachusetts.
