"Hot Topics in Philanthropy" Breakfast Focuses on Public Policy & Nonprofit Organizations.

“Nonprofits Effecting Change: Making Your Case Within The Political Landscape” is the focus of the upcoming Hot Topics in Philanthropy Breakfast hosted by Bay Path College and the MS in Nonprofit Management and Philanthropy degree program. The breakfast is scheduled for Friday, January 25 at 8 a.m. in the Blake Student Commons on Bay Path’s Longmeadow Campus. David Magnani, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Nonprofit Network and former State Senator, is the keynote speaker, followed by a panel discussion moderated by Carolyn Ford, Executive Director of the Human Service Forum and featuring Gale Candaras, Massachusetts State Senator; Ron Cretaro, Executive Director, Connecticut Association of Nonprofits; Cheryl Rivera, Massachusetts House of Representatives; and Michael Weekes, President/CEO, Massachusetts Council of Human Service Providers.
The program will offer information on effectively communicating the important work of nonprofit organizations to political leaders and public policymakers, and how to impact the policymaking process.
The breakfast is free.
