Bay Path Softball Shines On and Off the Field with National USCAA Honors
Bay Path Softball Student-Athletes Earn National Academic and Athletic Honors
In the middle of an exciting run at the USCAA Division I Softball World Series, Bay Path softball is proving that greatness can be measured in more ways than one.
For their performances on the field this season, Madison Sunderland '27 earned Division I 1st Team All-American honors, one of the highest athletic recognitions in the USCAA and an achievement reserved for only a select group of athletes across the country. Caroline Austin '26, Madison Tessmer '26 and Jackie Phillips '29 were also recognized with Honorable Mention All-American honors, celebrating the impact they made throughout the season with their talent and dedication to the game.
But the achievements didn’t stop with athletic recognition. The USCAA National All-Academic Team honors student-athletes sophomore and above who maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher while balancing the demands of collegiate athletics.
Caroline Austin '26, Ansley Morrison '25, Madison Sunderland '27, Jenna Boudreau '27, Sophie Verrengia '28, Alyssa Kreischer '26, Kaitlyn Kerstetter '28, Madison Tessmer '26, and Grace Ramsey '26 each earned All-Academic honors, representing the discipline and determination that define this team in the classroom.
Three players, Caroline Austin '26, Madison Sunderland '27, and Madison Tessmer '26, were recognized for both their athletic and academic achievements. That's the full picture of what it means to be a student-athlete.
As Bay Path competes among the nation’s best at the 2026 Softball Small College World Series, these honors tell an even bigger story: this is a team that excels under pressure, supports one another, and represents Bay Path’s Wildcat pride in every arena.
