April 24, 2026, LONGMEADOW, Mass.  — Bay Path University (BPU) will serve as a teach-out partner for Anna Maria College (AMC), ensuring that students have a clear, supported path to complete their degrees.

For Anna Maria students, this moment may bring uncertainty about what comes next. Bay Path University is stepping forward with a commitment to make that next step as seamless and supportive as possible, so students can stay focused on their goals and continue the progress they’ve already made.

Through close collaboration, Bay Path and Anna Maria have aligned academic programs and mapped curricula to support a smooth transfer process. Students will be able to bring their completed coursework with them and continue their studies without losing momentum. The University has also committed to honoring tuition and financial aid in accordance with the teach-out agreement, helping reduce additional financial strain during the transition.

“Students should not bear the burden of circumstances beyond their control,” said Sandra Doran, President of Bay Path University. “Our priority is to meet Anna Maria students where they are, support them as individuals, and ensure they have a clear and confident path to completing their degrees. In a moment like this, our focus is simple: take care of students, remove barriers, and provide the stability and support they need to finish what they started.”

Under the agreement, eligible Anna Maria students in good academic and social standing may apply to Bay Path University. Application fees will be waived, and students will receive expedited admissions decisions. Each student will have access to dedicated advising and transfer support to guide them from application through graduation.

Bay Path offers multiple ways for students to continue their education, including a traditional undergraduate experience at its Longmeadow campus, flexible online undergraduate programs through Bay Path Online, and a wide range of graduate programs. Across all pathways, students benefit from career-focused learning, hands-on experiences such as internships and practicums, and personalized career support.

Above all, Bay Path is committed to providing stability, clarity, and a strong sense of community to students navigating this transition, ensuring they are supported not just academically but personally as they move forward.

Students interested in learning more about transferring to Bay Path University should contact Carol Lombardi, AVP, Enrollment Management, at clombardi@baypath.edu, or by phone at 781.463.5337. The University will be hosting welcome events for Anna Maria College students over the next several weeks and more information can be found on this BPU/AMC partnership page.
