Employees Contribute to Local Charity

12.14.2007

Each year, Bay Path College participates in the spirit of the holidays by giving to a specific charity organization. For 2007, the Ronald McDonald House of Springfield has been chosen for this community-wide effort. With twenty-two private and spacious rooms, the Ronald McDonald House provides a comfortable, home-like setting for families whose children are receiving medical care locally.

Members of the Bay Path faculty and staff will be donating much needed food supplies, miscellaneous household supplies, toys and video games for the playroom, outdoor equipment, office supplies and kitchen items to the Ronald McDonald House. The collection will be presented to a representative from the House during the annual Employee Holiday Party on December 19, from 12 -2 p.m. in the Blake Student Commons dining room.

Bay Path is proud to select this important and valuable member institution of the Springfield community as its official holiday charity. In doing so, we hope to spread the spirit of the holidays for children and families who are far from home in this most special of seasons.
