Changes are coming! In January 2024, the CPA Exam will evolve to reflect the need for greater skill sets and competencies and a greater knowledge of emerging technologies that are fundamental to a CPA’s role today. How will this evolution impact your journey to CPA licensure?

About Tom Kubishta

Tom Kubishta is the East Regional Director for UWorld/Wiley Efficient Learning.  Tom has been involved in Professional Education and test prep for 16 years.  Previously the majority of Tom’s career was in retail Marketing and Operations, working with Staples-The Office Superstore. 

Well-traveled, Tom has lived & worked in 10 US states from coast to coast and internationally in Hamburg, Germany, and High Wycombe, UK.

Tom is also a commercial-rated pilot and a certified flight instructor (CFI) and spent several years in higher education as a flight instructor and adjunct professor.

 

About Kara Stevens

Dr. Kara Stevens is the founding Director of the Master of Science in Accounting Program at Bay Path University. Her teaching philosophy is “theory to practice,” enabled by over a decade of teaching accounting and years of hands-on experience working in the accounting profession.

Dr. Stevens work experience ranges from working as an auditor for a public accounting firm, as an accountant for a publicly traded manufacturing company, and as a controller for a large not-for-profit organization. This background provides Kara with insights and perspectives on the unique accounting needs and regulations for a variety of organizations and companies.
