Healthcare Administration
Graduate Admissions Requirements
Prospective students may apply for admission to the MS in Healthcare Administration throughout the year. Classes start every January, March, May, June, September, and October.
Do I need a health-related background to study healthcare administration?
No, Bay Path designed the MS in Healthcare Administration program for any college graduate (regardless of your undergraduate degree) who wishes to pursue a career in healthcare administration.
The Healthcare Administration Program will allow the transfer of up to six credits from accredited institutions per the Bay Path University graduate transfer policy. All questions about transferring credits should be discussed with graduate admissions.
For consideration, applicants must submit the following admission requirements:
- A completed application - Apply Now
- Official undergraduate and graduate transcripts (a GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred)
Official transcripts must be sent directly to Bay Path's Graduate Admissions Office from the issuing institution's records office either by mail or through a secure electronic transcript service (such as Parchment or National Clearinghouse). For transcripts sent through a secure transcript service, please select Bay Path University from the vendor's dropdown list to ensure the transcript is routed to the correct place. If an email address is requested, you can route to graduate@baypath.edu. Transcripts sent from the student are unofficial and will not be accepted.
- An original essay of at least 250 words on the topic: "Why the MS in Healthcare Administration is important to my personal and professional goals."
- A current resume
- One recommendation - Download the recommendation form here
Please Note: if you are applying for admissions through our Stay on The Path alumni program, you are not required to provide a recommendation.
All documentation, including recommendation forms and official transcripts, may be mailed or emailed directly to the Bay Path University Office of Graduate Admissions:
