“The engagement and support during the application process really set Bay Path apart,” Patrick shared. “My admissions counselor clearly explained timelines, requirements, and options, and Student Financial Services walked me through how to apply my GI Bill benefits. It was organized, efficient, and showed me early on that Bay Path is focused on enabling students.” - Patrick Curry G'26 Read Patrick's Story >
I chose this graduate program because my interest in cybersecurity has been lifelong, sparked by early curiosity about what was happening behind the screen and strengthened by the field’s constant evolution today. What truly set the program apart was its designation as a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense, which reassured me I’d be gaining rigorous, real-world skills that align with my long-term goals. Through hands-on learning, I’ve gained practical experience that carries into real conversations with business owners, helping me apply what I learn while making an impact. To anyone considering this program: go for it—the opportunity is real, what you don’t know can be learned, and there is absolutely a place for you in this field. - Tiffany Candelaria, '25, G'27
"Once I decided that I had the time to pursue my master’s degree, I wanted a 100% online program for convenience purposes. I desired to obtain a degree that is current in today’s workforce and has high demand projected for the future, therefore cybersecurity was the perfect fit since I had IT experience. During the program, I enjoyed learning about digital forensics and greatly appreciated the hands-on learning involved with the courses. My internship at Paragus Strategic I.T. served as both an additional learning opportunity and provided networking opportunities that lead to my current job. Bay Path also offers WiCyS (women in cybersecurity student chapter) for even more networking opportunities. If anyone can find the time to take one course per session to advance their career, go for it!" - Danielle Thibodeau '20, G'23
