Applied Behavior Analysis (PhD)
Applications for Summer 2027 Cohort Are Open. The deadline is December 15, 2026.
The demand for highly trained behavior-analytic scientists and practitioners is rapidly growing, yet workforce studies reveal gaps in training and supervision. The ABA field stands at a pivotal moment of innovation, driven by advances in research, technology, ethics, and standardization, making a research-intensive doctoral program a timely choice. By positioning yourself at the forefront of science and practice, you can generate new evidence, refine interventions, harness emerging technologies, and shape policy and standards. With the urgent need for evidence-based interventions and an evolving science-practice landscape, now is the time to position yourself to become the clinical and/or industry/organizational leader the ABA field will need in the future.
The PhD in Applied Behavior Analysis program features an alternating format: one week of online asynchronous coursework followed by one week of remote Zoom classes. The program also includes a one-week summer residency in Boston, MA, and is designed to prepare the next generation of leaders and innovators in the field of applied behavior analysis.
Our ABA PhD empowers professionals to excel across diverse applications of behavior analysis, from advancing clinical practice to leading organizational change, preparing graduates to shape policy, drive innovation, and inspire transformation at every level.
