One America 2012 Hits the Road
Bay Path students took to the road as part of what is now an annual January event: The One America Trip - from Atlanta, Georgia, home of the Carter Center, Coca-Cola Headquarters, Olympic Park and Martin Luther King Jr.’s birth place onto Savannah and then to Charleston. Not only will they be visiting historical landmarks, staying at some unusual locations, and meeting local people, they will also be helping out fellow Americans in each city along the way. Accompanied by Professor Robert Surbrug and Caron Hobin, VP for Planning and Student Development, you can follow their footsteps by following their blogs:

The Writer's Path Blog by Suzanne Strempek Shea
At the end of each of Bay Path College’s Writers’ Days, there’s been a great energy among the participants, who leave the campus energized to start a new project or continue anew with an existing one. Many have expressed the desire to stay in touch with those they’ve met during a session, or wished for some sort of list through which they could share writing news with other participants. The Writer’s Path will be a place for that, and more, and we welcome your participation and input to make this a vibrant stop during any writer’s Internet browsing.

An intrepid band of Bay Path students took to the road as part of what is now an annual January event: The One America Trip. From Little Rock (AK) to Nashville (TN), with a dose of Elvis Presley and B.B. King in between, this mobile classroom traveled hundreds of miles by bus in search of the food, culture, music, and history that defines the Upper South.
