Signature Events That Bring the Bay Path Community Together
Student Engagement Signature Events at Bay Path University are designed to help students build connections, celebrate traditions, and create meaningful experiences throughout the academic year. From welcoming new Wildcats during Welcome Week to celebrating accomplishments at Senior Farewell Dinner, these events bring the campus community together through opportunities for fun, involvement, wellness, and belonging. Whether students are attending an annual trip to Broadway, relaxing during Cram Jam, exploring the Farmer’s Market, or connecting at a commuter luncheon, Signature Events help make Bay Path feel like home both inside and outside the classroom.

Campus Awakening
Kick off the academic year with one of Bay Path’s signature traditions! Campus Awakening is a high-energy celebration designed to welcome students into the new year through music, activities, giveaways, food, and opportunities to connect with classmates, faculty, and staff. Whether you are new to campus or returning for another year, this event is all about building community, creating memories, and starting the semester with excitement and purpose.
Welcome Weekend/Welcome Week
Welcome Week is a series of events and programs designed to help students transition into campus life, make connections, and discover the many opportunities available at Bay Path. Throughout the week, students can participate in social activities, campus traditions, involvement fairs, educational workshops, and community-building experiences that encourage engagement both inside and outside the classroom. From first-year students to returning Wildcats, Welcome Week helps everyone feel connected and prepared for a successful semester.
Annual Trip to Broadway
Experience the excitement of New York City and the magic of live theater during Bay Path’s annual Broadway trip! Students travel together to enjoy a professionally produced Broadway performance while exploring the culture and energy of the city. This popular tradition provides students with an opportunity to relax, connect with peers, and experience the arts in one of the world’s most iconic entertainment destinations.
Campus Day
Campus Day is a spirited community celebration that brings students together for an afternoon of entertainment, activities, food, and school pride. Hosted during the spring semester, this event features interactive attractions, games, music, giveaways, and opportunities to engage with campus organizations and departments. Campus Day is designed to celebrate the Bay Path community and provide students with a memorable break from the academic routine.
First Generation Dinner
The First Gen Dinner celebrates the experiences, accomplishments, and resilience of first-generation college students within the Bay Path community. Students, faculty, staff, and supporters gather for an evening of connection, reflection, and recognition while sharing stories and building community. This event highlights the strength and success of first-generation students and reinforces Bay Path’s commitment to supporting, fostering belonging, and advancing student achievement.
Cram Jam
Take a break and recharge during finals season at Cram Jam! This beloved campus tradition provides students with snacks, relaxation activities, stress-relief opportunities, and community support during one of the semester's busiest times. Whether students need a study break, a quick meal, or encouragement before exams, Cram Jam helps promote wellness, balance, and academic success.
Senior Farewell Dinner
The Senior Farewell Dinner is a special evening dedicated to celebrating graduating students and honoring their journey at Bay Path. Seniors gather with classmates, faculty, and staff to reflect on their experiences, achievements, and memories while looking ahead to the future. Through dinner, recognition, and celebration, the event serves as a meaningful opportunity to commemorate this important milestone before commencement.
Fresh Check Day
Fresh Check Day brings the Bay Path community together to promote mental health awareness, well-being, and connection. Part of a nationwide initiative focused on mental health and suicide prevention, the event features interactive activities, educational booths, and campus resources designed to encourage conversation, reduce stigma, and support student success.
Convocation
Convocation is one of higher education’s most cherished traditions, and at Bay Path University, it marks both a beginning and a milestone. This annual ceremony celebrates seniors as they embark on their final year and formally welcomes new undergraduate students into the academic community. Bringing together students, faculty, and staff, Convocation serves as a meaningful reminder of the journey ahead and the accomplishments yet to come.
