MEd in School Counseling - Boston Location

Graduate Admissions Requirements for the MEd in School Counseling Program

For consideration, applicants must submit the following admission requirements:

1. A completed application - Apply Now
2. Official undergraduate and graduate transcripts (a GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred)
3. Please provide your MEPID when applying to the program to ensure your professional educator profile is correctly linked to your application.
4. An original essay of at least 250 words on the topic: "Why the MEd in School Counseling is important to my personal and professional goals."
5. A current resume
6. One recommendation (preferably from a current or former supervisor or an academic reference)  - Download the form here
7. A signed program requirement form 
   1. Download the requirement form for Initial Licensure & Non-Licensure Programs
   2. Download the requirement form for Professional Licensure Programs
8. A copy of MTEL results (if applicable)
9. A copy of your current teaching license (if applicable)

Official Transcripts

Official transcripts must be sent directly to Bay Path University's Admissions Operations Office from the issuing institution's records office either by mail or through a secure electronic transcript service (such as Parchment or National Clearinghouse). For transcripts sent through a secure transcript service, please select Bay Path University from the vendor's dropdown list to ensure the transcript is routed to the correct place. If an email address is requested, you can route to ccadmissionsops@baypath.edu. Transcripts sent from the student are unofficial and will not be accepted.
