Bilingual Educator Endorsement Certificate

Bay Path University's Bilingual Educator Endorsement is a 15-credit post-baccalaureate endorsement option that can be a stand-alone option or added on to an Initial licensure degree program in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Moderate Disabilities, Severe Disabilities, or qualified core subject areas (i.e., Mathematics, Science).

The certificate consists of 15 credits (5 courses), and all courses are offered fully online.

Admissions Requirements

Prospective students may apply for admission to the Graduate Certificate programs throughout the year.

For consideration, applicants must submit the following to the Office of Graduate Admissions (the same admissions requirements apply to students who will enroll in only one course):

  1. A completed application - Apply Now 
  2. Official undergraduate and graduate transcripts (undergraduate degree must be from an accredited college or university)
  3. An original essay of at least 250 words on the topic: “Why A Graduate Certificate in Bilingual Educator Endorsement is important to my personal and professional goals."
  4. A current resume
  5. Two recommendations - Download the form here
  6. A signed program requirement form - Download the form here

Official Transcripts:

Official transcripts must be sent directly to Bay Path's Graduate Admissions Office from the issuing institution's records office either by mail or through a secure electronic transcript service (such as Parchment or National Clearinghouse). For transcripts sent through a secure transcript service, please select Bay Path University from the vendor's dropdown list to ensure the transcript is routed to the correct place. If an email address is requested, you can route to graduate@baypath.edu. Transcripts sent from the student are unofficial and will not be accepted.
