Lisa M. Sihvonen-Binder has a Master of Science degree in Nonprofit Management and Philanthropy with Graduate Fundraising Management Certificate and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Writing with a Communications minor. Her 20 years of professional experience include publications and program management in both the nonprofit and corporate sector. Since 2008 she has owned Cricklewood Consulting, raising over $6.5M for her clients through grants from private and corporate foundations, and state and federal funding sources. Her clients have included agencies that provide programs for: adult literacy, animal welfare, youth development, K-12 education, economic/workforce development, arts and culture, health and human services, individuals with disabilities, and academic research.

Lisa is a member of the Grant Professionals Association and a board member of the Grant Professionals Foundation where she serves on the marketing and strategic planning committees. In addition to her consulting practice, she edits books for CharityChannel Press on nonprofit management and fundraising. These include: Succeed in Your Nonprofit Funding Partnerships: Analyzing Their Costs and Benefits by Joanne Oppelt; Nonprofit Board Service for the GENIUS by Susan Schaefer, CFRE and Bob Wittig, MBA; and Understanding Nonprofit Finances by Michael Wells [in production]. She lives in western Massachusetts with her husband and three rescue dogs.
