Dr. Laurie Rosner is the Associate Dean for the School of Management & Technology (SMT) at Bay Path University | Cambridge College, a role she assumed in December 2025. A highly respected member of the Bay Path community for more than eighteen years, she is known for her transformative, student-centered leadership and commitment to academic innovation. Throughout her tenure, she has led initiatives that strengthened enrollment, retention, persistence, and credit production while successfully launching market-relevant academic programs aligned with evolving workforce needs. Her leadership philosophy centers on applied learning, embedding real-world application throughout the curriculum to prepare students for meaningful and impactful careers.

Previously, Dr. Rosner served as Assistant Dean for the School of Management & Technology and for Graduate & Doctoral Business Programs, Associate Professor, and Program Director for the MBA, Quality Systems & Improvement Management Doctoral program, and several graduate programs. She has led and supported a wide portfolio of programs, including the Master of Business Administration, Master of Human Resource Management, Master of Science in Business Ethics and Compliance, Master of Science in Quality Systems & Improvement Management, and the Cambridge College Doctor of Business Administration in Quality Systems & Improvement Management, along with global MBA programs including MBA Spanish program in Puerto Rico and Asia programs.

Dr. Rosner holds a Doctorate in Management from Pace University in New York City and is a double Bay Path alumna, having earned both her undergraduate and MBA degrees in business from the university. Her research explores narratives and how they influence individuals’ cognitive, affective, and narrative engagement with strategic actions when solving work-related problems, with the goal of achieving higher-level outcomes and fostering future learning intentions.

Prior to entering academia, Dr. Rosner served as a Senior Vice President in the financial industry, where she led marketing and branding for a community bank for more than twenty years and was part of the executive leadership team that grew the institution from $285 million to $2 billion and achieved public trading on the NASDAQ Global Select Market. An experienced educator, executive, entrepreneur, and community leader, she also owns A Story Making Company, LLC, a consulting firm focused on marketing, leadership, and business strategy through the use of meaningful narrative.

Dr. Rosner has received several recognitions for her teaching and leadership, including Bay Path University’s Estelle Leavitt Award for Teaching Excellence and the Distinguished Adjunct Teaching Award. She serves on the Board of Trustees for the Willie Ross School for the Deaf and chairs its Development Committee, and serves on the Board of Corporators for Mason Wright Foundation, Colony Care at Home. She is also a member of the American Management Association National Chapter and previously served as President of the Springfield Rotary Club and the North Central Connecticut Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Rosner remains deeply committed to education, student success, and preparing learners to lead with purpose, innovation, and impact.
