Dr. Eric Sarrett is an occupational therapist and scholar with more than two decades of experience serving clients across the lifespan. He earned his Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University and has provided care in school-based settings, outpatient geriatrics, memory care, and home health services, working with individuals ranging from early childhood through older adulthood.

Over the course of his clinical career, Dr. Sarrett has held leadership roles including Rehabilitation Coordinator for outpatient and home health programs and has extensive experience supporting individuals with complex and high-intensity needs. His work has spanned public schools, community-based practice, and continuum of care environments.

Dr. Sarrett completed his PhD in Public Policy and Administration at Walden University, where his research was recognized with the 2022 Harold L. Hodgkins Award for Outstanding Dissertation. His scholarship reflects a strong interest in the intersection of policy, practice, and outcomes, particularly in supporting meaningful transitions for children with high-intensity needs.

In addition to his work in occupational therapy, Dr. Sarrett holds a Master of Arts in English and has a background in writing and rhetoric. This interdisciplinary perspective informs his approach to teaching, scholarship, and communication within the profession.
