Chris Clarke, MA

Adjunct Professor

BA, The Ohio State University; MA, University of North Florida

Chris Clarke is an Adjunct Professor for Bay Path University and The American Women’s College. He has been teaching American Government 100 for the past three years. He currently lives in central Kentucky with his wife, two dogs, and three cats, all rescues. He and his wife enjoy hiking, travel, and playing with their dogs.

Chris is originally from New England, but lived in Ohio, Florida, Louisiana, Alabama, and Florida (again), before moving to Kentucky. He majored in Classics at The Ohio State University, receiving his BA in 2007. Afterwards, he attended graduate school at the University of West Florida in Pensacola, majoring in History with an emphasis on early American history, completing his MA in 2010. He worked in the hospitality industry for 10 years before rejoining the academic community several years ago.

Chris met his wife in Daytona Beach, FL and decided to relocate after getting married in 2016, after several close calls with major hurricanes. They are much happier in their new home in Kentucky, tucked right up against the Appalachian Mountains in the middle of horse country.

Chris also enjoys Ohio State Football, reading history books, and visiting with friends and family. He is   currently enrolled in the Graduate program for his Certificate in Online Teaching, which he hopes to complete by the end of next year. Chris very much enjoys teaching for the American Women’s College and helping his students continue on their Bay Path journey.
