LONGMEADOW, Mass.— Resilience, empathy, and persuasiveness are just a few of the factors that play into the success of women leaders. Bay Path College One-Day-A-Week Saturday Program will explore these qualities and more during the Women as Leaders Career Seminar on Wednesday, March 24, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in Breck Suite, Wright Hall, 588 Longmeadow St. in Longmeadow, MA. The event is free and open to women who are seeking career advice, networking opportunities, and leadership skills.

Either in the workplace, at home, or in their local communities, women have the innate ability to become leaders and take charge of their lives. Bay Path’s Women as Leaders program will feature several successful women, such as College President Carol A. Leary who will share her career success story, and Bay Path Board Trustee Gloria Smith, president of Zanger Company, importers of Polish pottery for almost two decades. A panel presentation of accomplished professionals and recent Bay Path alumnae will discuss career advancement and take audience questions related to leadership roles in various environments. Attendees will also have an opportunity to network during roundtable discussions, where they can share their experiences and knowledge and gain valuable insight from their peers.

Hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be served. Registration is required by March 19, and seating is limited. To register, contact Kellee Grucci at 413.565.1161 or kgrucci@baypath.edu.
