Bay Path College sweeps doubleheader from Newbury College

Bay Path College swept a pair of non-conference games from Newbury College on Friday afternoon. The "Wildcats" improved to 13-7 overall with wins of 10-1 & 4-0. Bay Path has now won 6 in a row and entertains Husson College of Bangor, ME at 1 pm Saturday, April 12, 2008.
Bay Path College was led by the hitting of junior, Sarah Palmer who had 4 hits and 6 rbi's to pace the "Wildcats". Jessica Nizinski (Holyoke Catholic) picked up both wins, throwing a 2 hit shutout in game 2. She has a team leading 8 victories and 3 shutouts this season.
Bay Path College next plays home at 1 pm on 4/12 vs. Husson College and on home again on Sunday, 4/13 at noon vs. Maine Maritime Academy of Castine , ME.
