Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology

I aspire to become a woman leader in the field of biotechnology.

I came to Bay Path because I was inspired by Christine Bacon, the chair of the science department. She and many of the other staff and faculty members were so helpful during the admissions process, providing me with the information I needed to make my decision to attend. I’m studying biotechnology because I want to help people. It’s my goal to work for the CDC (Center for Disease Control), where I’d like to conduct research and make vaccines.

I also chose this University because of the WELL program. It’s important to me to continue to build my confidence and leadership skills as a longtime student leader. Over the summer, I chose to participate in the ALLI program so I could move in early and focus on math and chemistry before the semester started.

Going to a women's University is a new experience for me, but I am so glad I chose it. I'm a BPU Wildcat and I wouldn't have it any other way!
