Mearlin Dwyer '21

“I kept telling myself, ‘I am not worthy,” says Mearlin Dwyer.

This came up as Mearlin reflected on her time at Bay Path. She wasn’t always confident in herself. However, she says the flexibility Bay Path offered, the willpower it instilled, and the encouragement her professors provided helped her come this far.

Now, she’s set to graduate in May with a B.S. in accounting and is heading to Westfield State to pursue a master’s degree in public administration. She hopes to become a staff
accountant as well.

When asked what advice she’d give to other students, she said the following.

“Rest if you must, but do not quit.”

There’ll always be someone there to support you along the way.
