Longmeadow, MA— Throughout the week of May 9-12, Bay Path University will be holding virtual information sessions highlighting 24 of its graduate degree programs. Each session will give potential students an opportunity to speak with faculty, program directors, and admissions counselors to get a comprehensive understanding of curriculum, admissions, and graduate school financing.

“Bay Path has over 50 advanced degree options, including certifications, and many people don’t realize that graduate students make up the majority of our student population,” says Bay Path Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Shannon McCarty. “Our graduate students routinely cite the collaboration, discussion and learning that occurs within their cohorts as absolutely critical to their development as leaders in their respective industries. Events like our Go Grad Virtual Open House enable prospective students to see how a Bay Path graduate degree can advance their career.”

According to the Western Massachusetts Economic Development Council, healthcare is the largest private industry in the region. Bay Path’s graduate programs align with workforce development goals, offering online degrees in healthcare that include a master’s in Healthcare Management and doctoral degrees in Health Science and Nursing Practice. The school’s Physician Assistant and master’s in Occupational Therapy courses take place at the Philip H. Ryan Center, a state-of-the-art facility in East Longmeadow.

The university also offers advanced degrees in business, education, higher education leadership, mental health counseling and data science, among others.

The employment website Indeed.com estimates that obtaining a master’s degree leads to an average salary increase of 20%.

Dr. McCarty notes, “As a career-focused institution, we provide specialized learning at the graduate level that gives students the flexibility and opportunity to apply their classroom assignments to real world work scenarios and chart their course for continual career advancement. For those looking toward leadership positions, graduate degrees are an increasingly important investment.”

Registration and a full schedule for Go Grad is available on the Bay Path University website.
