Longmeadow, MA - Dr. Joshua N. Weiss, program director for Bay Path’s Master of Science in Leadership and Negotiation, has been recognized by Harvard Law School for his book The Book of Real World Negotiations: Successful Strategies from Business, Government and Daily Life. Harvard’s Program on Negotiation acknowledged 22 negotiation books on their Best Negotiation Books: A Negotiation Reading List. “When practicing negotiation principles and strategies, it helps to learn about how others have implemented them successfully,” says Katie Shonk, editor of the program’s Negotion Briefings Newsletter. “In The Book of Real-World Negotiations, Weiss, a senior fellow at the Harvard Negotiation Project, presents 25 compelling real-world negotiations in which negotiators overcame significant obstacles and unlocked agreement.”

In addition to his duties as the MS in Leadership and Negotiation program director, Weiss is also an assistant professor at Bay Path. He is a Senior Fellow at the Harvard Negotiation Project (HNP), a subsidiary of Harvard University’s Program on Negotiation—a consortium comprised of faculty, staff, and students from Harvard, MIT, and Tufts University. Weiss is also the co-founder of the Global Negotiation Initiative at the HNP.
