Mary Whitten, DHSc

Mary Whitten has been an Occupational Therapist for 15 years, and her area of practice is physical disabilities. She is a Certified Hand Therapist working with veterans.  She completed her DHSc degree at Drexel University. The focus of her research was the therapeutic management of post-traumatic elbow stiffness and she co-authored a chapter in the newest edition of Rehabilitation of the Hand and Upper Extremity on the therapeutic management of traumatic elbow injuries.  She was awarded the first-time author award by the Journal of Hand Therapy for her 2023 article on therapeutic management of posttraumatic elbow stiffness.
