Deanna Wohlers, AS, COTA/L

Level II Fieldwork Assistant & Community Partnership Liaison

Deanna has been a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L) since 2006. After graduating from Springfield Technical Community College she began her career working in pediatrics in the Springfield Public Schools gaining much experience and knowledge working with children with various diagnoses. Deanna also acted as a fieldwork coordinator for OT/OTA students from area colleges and universities. Deanna served as a mentor to OTA’s to provide quality fieldwork experiences for Level II fieldwork students. In 2019, in need of a change, Deanna decided to pursue working in higher education with Bay Path University in the Occupational Therapy Fieldwork department as a Level II Fieldwork Assistant & Community Partnership Liaison. Deanna has enjoyed working with students to arrange fieldwork placements and providing support and mentorship to Level II MOT students on fieldwork within the various BPU community-based practice settings. In her free time, Deanna loves spending time with her cats, chasing the moon, and trips to the ocean.
