Alan Wolf, a Pioneer Valley native, currently Works as Chief of Staff to Mayor Narkewicz in the City of Northampton, Massachusetts. Alan has spent his career working for organizations that strive to make the world a better place, from government to politics to nonprofits to technology. Previously he was Chief of Staff to Mayor LaChapelle of Easthampton, Massachusetts, Head of Marketing and Business Development at the web services company Last Call Media, Chief Operating Officer of the international labor rights nonprofit Verité, Chief Operating Officer of political polling firm Lake Research Partners, also working for anti-hunger organization Share Our Strength (now No Kid Hungry), and Dell Computer. He has been an adjunct instructor for the American Women’s College at Bay Path University since February of 2017.

Alan has served on multiple boards and committees, including the Mayor’s Work Group on Panhandling, The Mayor’s Casino Mitigation Work Group, was Chair of the Board of both the Downtown Northampton Association and of Sunnyside Childcare in Northampton, MA, and served as a board Member for WildPAC, a political action committee that worked to preserve wilderness lands.

He's the father of three pre-teens, returning to his home town to raise them. His wife Megan works in social justice philanthropy, and the whole family enjoys snowball fights in winter, and swimming in the pool in summer.
